The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of regulations designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe and strengthen privacy regulations for citizens of the European Union. Yes, W3lcome services comply with the GDPR. According to the regulation. W3lcome is considered a data processor because we process personal data on behalf of our customers, who are considered data controllers.

As a data processor we have prepared for GDPR by:

  • Developing an internal process that allows our customers to request the anonymization of their data

  • Allowing our Business Customers to be fully compliant with GDPR, once they are the data controllers

  • Explaining clearly why, how and what is W3lcome doing with your data.

 

How is W3lcome Compliant?

W3lcome provides:

  • Transparent reasons: W3lcome collects the customer information in order to improve and operate the system.   • Consent: Both the company and the visitor are informed and requested to their consent on the usage of the service. Either via accepting our terms and conditions or via explicit request during the usage of the service.

  • Data Transfer: W3lcome assure the security, protection and privacy of personal data when that data is being transferred our third party servers (Google Firebase)
